  • How much time do you devote to workouts?

Posted by TylerL on July 15, 2024 at 9:33 pm

Whether it be daily, or a few times a week, how much time do you usually devote to your workouts? I tend to push myself for around an hour if I can, or at the least 30 minutes every day. What about you? What is your limit? What do you strive for?

If I can, I try to get 30-45 min in at least. An hour is a good amount, but there are times I just can’t push myself to do that much. But 30-45 min for me.

Yeah 30-45 min a day isn’t bad. Even a quick 25 min workout can go a long way.

I think on average, most people need around 30 minutes of a solid workout at least. I tend to go for that or an hour if I can.

Yeah I think on average, it’s ideal to get around 30 min a day, 5 days a week. If you can handle an hour or more, awesome. But no one really needs to go too far past 30min to an hour.

Back before I stopped working out, I was maybe getting like 1-2 days a week where I am getting a workout. And when I do, it wasn’t even near 30 minutes. Since doing the courses, I am finding I have more energy and I actually want to do workouts that extend past 30 minutes or more. I am hoping to move on to doing hour long workouts.

I think for some people, at least 3 days a week at around 20-30 minutes would be good. Even lowering it down to 15 minutes to start, and then once you get into a good rhythm, you can then start to up it to 20 minutes, then 30, and so on.

Take it slow and go at your own pace.

Yeah I can see at least 3 days out of the week. I strive for 4-5 days out of the week now and have been trying to use the weekend to rest.
